TV Ads

A lot of you know my books and calendar work but few outside of the business know my arm can be twisted to direct or license my concept for television ads. Here is one I did for the Cincinnati Zoo.

The whole Parmalat milk campaign was particular fun to do. One day I got a call from an art director from Sao Paulo, Brasil. He told me he wanted me to shoot some magazine and newspaper advertisements for Parmalat products and license my concept, costumes, and artwork to that company for a major advertising campaign. At that time, my studio was in New York City and I was shooting advertising photographs for many large companies that sold baby products, as well as working on my books, calendars, and greeting cards, so I figured, why not, sounds exciting! I came across a number of them on You Tube, and it being the Halloween season, I figured I’d gather a few together and post them for your viewing pleasure. As you can see, every child looks great in my costumes, if I do say so myself!.
Above is the first TV spot and it was an instant hit.
Years later we used the original kids, all grown up, in this award winning ad below.
Here in two ads, the kids are teamed with soccer star Ronaldinho.
