Tom Arma is the sole creator and copyright owner for the concept, costumes, and photography of the "Mamiferos , which

in portuguese translates into "mammals". The campaign for Parmalat was based on Tom's "Please Save the Animals"series

of posters and greeting cards which he created in 1980's. As well as his book, Animal Time, and previous Arma photographed

and costumed advertising campaigns which are shown below. And how did the campaign begin?-Very simply When Tom

----was approached by Parmalats advertising agent, ,Tom suggested that they use only his mammals,-because they feed their

young -with- milk. His idea became the basis of the campaign. Subsequently, he licensed the rights to use his "Mamiferos"

property directly to Parmalat. The rest is history.....! Starting in 1995 the "Mamiferos", became a legendary sensation in Brazil

that is still the topic of conversation today. Following the successful restructuring of Parmalat, Brazil, the "Mamiferos" now

return in TV commercials, interactive pieces, magazine advertising and a web hotsite, www.mamiferosparmalat.com.br.

Shown below are campaigns Tom photographed prior to the Parmalat campaign.
